Couldn't find the photo but I found one of CW's from an earlier thread.

And if you cannot find bolts that are long enough, you can cut off lengths of studding bar & use nuts at both ends

I have just got my "Bridson" jig onto the bench for the start of a new build. If you would like I could take a whole pile of constructional notes and photos which could help considerably.

I think I will be fine I have got the general gist of the jig, had two nice 5meters of angle turn up today so might make a start later will post pictures of what turns out thanks for the offer and what you going to be building

well i did not get any time the other night to start making the Jig but had an hour on it this evening think its what its ment to look like

That looks about right Dave.
As long as your stations slide slide nicely & clamp up tight then it should be good.
A tape measure stuck to one side is a very useful addition, especially if the 0 point aligns with where your first station can be set. Then you just measure off your former positions from the plan and setup your jig stations accordingly. Simples...

And it does mean that you can only get the upright fixings in from the ends, rather than underneath if need be

I went to buy my alu angle and the man asked me a trick question . . .
"What thickness. 1.2, 3 or 6mm?"
Blank look from me. I'm guessing 3mm?
