Mine is made from 1/16” thick, 1” Aluminium angle and has been used to build up to 1/3 scale woodies.

A bit late to the discussion here, but when I made my version of the jig, I added a Kreg branded self adhesive rule along the side so that I have a permanent ruler on the jig. I also made mine from 3mm angle as most folks have done.

Seems like an expensive jig at the time, but helps avoid the frustration of building something crooked and wasted materials.

Otherwise, use a steel tape measure & double sided adhesive tape ;)
