True but it is a hike up, St agnes has its plus points, if not maximum lift or height.

Today, light airs, fab weather, a relaxing cruise from coastguards to tubbies with the 20, and back, just how i like it :)

Today was a rather good day. Had a quick blast around with the L213a, a stunning bird, then i got to try my Fox. Now as you may know on other threads this exhibited occasional rudder flutter, when i really pushed on. To cut a long story short, Terry and I had a bit of a chat he agreed to upgrade my rudder, to the same design as used on his big foxes he made for Purbeck Sailplanes. So we met up and Terry worked his magic. Anyway, i took it to the slope today, and gave it a good bashing, and here is a report. The rudder now has real bite to it, has more movement and is solid. And the flutter appears to be gone. It was pretty windy 25-30 and I did some big swoops from altitude and pumps, thru the high compression band, some lovely crisp 4 and 8 pt rolls, i didnt really cane it, but i did give it more than i usually do, as later in the flight the confidence returned, and i started flying it hard. Hope to have many more flights probing its now superior performance. I can post some pictures if anyone is interested.
Thanks Terry.
Jimbo.

Some onboard shots from a FVK Graphite glider, acting as a chase plane, it had trouble keeping up in dives. No FPV was used.
Enjoy!

Great Video Jimbo! Not totally sure how 'scale' the performance is - you're flying it like you stole it.
