Motley's new 5th scale Flamingo tasted the air for the first time at CMFC today... (Complete with wing tip smoke!)

Many thanks chaps for your kind words, it flies every bit as lovely as my 1·35 scale one does so really looking forward to flying her again, probably at Middle Wallop now with a bit of luck. :D I would also like to give special thanks to Chris for providing some plan details and build info etc,
Barry Atkinson at Sarik Hobbies for the canopy and as usual our Barry Cole for the decals, thanks guys much appreciated. :D :D

Still loads to do but nice when you can assemble it and make it look like a glider. It's a WLM 1 - 1947 Swiss aerobatic glider. It's 1/4 scale and I'm building from the Vic Steel plan which has caused lots of problems - always frustrating but we will get there...
