Kupper Ku-7

Marcus Frey, the renowned Swiss large scale builder, has used my drawing of the Ku-7 to create a most unusual model. This was an engineering challenge as the outer wing panel of this glider rotates. For some strange reason he has yet again failed to paint it silver. He did the same with the Austria and the Messerschmitt m23c which also came from my drawing.

Sensible perhaps? Silver aeroplanes and grey skies are not a good combination, believe me!

Just as a footnote to this section, the Ku-7 was designed for Robert Kronfeld who flew the glider over Vesuvius in 1933. Photo attached
