Impressive that it flies in a 6mph breeze, what is the wing loading Brian - I'm guessing around 15/16ozs sq. ft?

Stephen, it weighs in at 7lb 5oz which gives a loading of 16.6 lb/Ft2. At 5/6mph it was marginal and was flying at slope height. As the wind increased slightly it was climbing quite easily. By the time I ended my third flight the wind was up to 14/15mph and height was not a problem and I could race the model around in a most undignified manner. All the usual aerobatics were easily achieved.

Well done you! All that hard work comes to fruition.

And there's no such thing as too many Slingsbys. :D

Hope to see it on a hill someday.

16.6lb/ft² would have been more fun (to watch, anyway).

Well done Brian, nice job. Like Rog said, can't have too many Skylarks.

Hmmm, not sure, Brian...Ft/2? Does that mean every second foot? Or, do you mean sq. ft.? (Isn't this fun ;) )

So a 🦵🏻= .5 of a ft/2? Or was that 🤷🏼‍♂️ =???? Oh well ignorance is bliss as long as it flies.
