Impressive that it flies in a 6mph breeze, what is the wing loading Brian - I'm guessing around 15/16ozs sq. ft?
Re: Who's Building What 2019
Stephen, it weighs in at 7lb 5oz which gives a loading of 16.6 lb/Ft2. At 5/6mph it was marginal and was flying at slope height. As the wind increased slightly it was climbing quite easily. By the time I ended my third flight the wind was up to 14/15mph and height was not a problem and I could race the model around in a most undignified manner. All the usual aerobatics were easily achieved.

Well done you! All that hard work comes to fruition.
And there's no such thing as too many Slingsbys.
Hope to see it on a hill someday.

16.6lb/ft² would have been more fun (to watch, anyway).
Well done Brian, nice job. Like Rog said, can't have too many Skylarks.

Hmmm, not sure, Brian...Ft/2? Does that mean every second foot? Or, do you mean sq. ft.? (Isn't this fun )

So a = .5 of a ft/2? Or was that =???? Oh well ignorance is bliss as long as it flies.
