Diacov 1000
Diatex's French website lists "Diacov 1000 covering for model aircraft", a self adhesive covering. Does anyone know this product and where it may be available? The site says it's only available from specialist stores.
Re: Diacov 1000

i got some from a model shop in france, worked out cheaper including postage it was a shops called rokin , did it all on line
i think i paid €7.90 euro per metre , also it is 75 cm wide
it seems to have worked out cheaper than solartex was
i paid €98 euros for 10 meters inc delivery , which took 5 days

Re: Diacov 1000
I have used it on my Moswey3 1:3.5 scale.
I found it to be of better quality than Oratex, sticks very well and is more tight after ironing.
Adhesion is especially good on ribs pre painted with PU. I use 1 or 2 white coats for a nice semi transparant finished wing..
Diacov was coated with brush on water based PU clear varnish.
I measured Diacov at 100 gr/m2 same as Oratex.

Yep good stuff, I'm recovering my Slingsby Eagle with it, I got mine from Ronk Aviation (model shop) in France https://ronk-aviation-resine.fr/ put Diacov in their search bar.
