Finally got my new WLM -1 into the air for a maiden. Intellectual honesty dictates that I tell you this was technically the second maiden following a bout of impatience and a pre-lockdown attempt to fly in 30mph winds. Yes I know it was daft and the return to the workshop for repairs was a suitable penance. Have to say I''m really pleased with the performance. It's from the Vic Steel plan but with a few mods by me. As always, big thanks to friends at CSSA for the help, especially Chris, Ron and Jimbo. Big thanks too, to Barry Cole for helping rescue my Taranis muppetry. Hopefully there should be a pic here and a link to Chris's video.

We had been planning to maiden the PIK-5B at Cerney this weekend after a 3 year build but Covid has seen of the best laid plans of mice and men and the best of all of us. Nevertheless is is finished, 1/3 scale scratch build by Frank Skilbeck and myself as the attached photo's testify. Have glider, can't wait
