And crikey hasn’t radio gear got small! This tiny thing has almost the same torque as the old bricks we were screwing into our models 40 years ago. Digital technology just keeps getting better.

Preparations are made to start the build of a scale 1:3 Slingsby T6 Kirby Kite. This one of my own designs requested by Cliff Evans. I will create a build thread on the forum. It will not be a fast built. A challenge will be the ply planking because I want to have a scale finish, that means a clear varnished surface. This asks for extra care/work/time to get neat joint lines between the ply sections particular on the fuse front end. I prefer the later used curved trailing edge of the rudder, canopy option could be both.
A computer rendered picture of the model is included in the attachments.
