Hi all,
I’m hoping to use a Schambeck compact tow release for my rebooted ~14kg Antares.
The pictured servo only has about 7kg torque but I have an 8kg torque HV servo that fits.
Do you think this will be strong enough?

It all depends on how the tow release works.

The tow release is a rotating barrel design.

Phil,
From the lok of the photos, it seems that the load on the line is trying to pull it into the open position, so I don't think you should have any problems with the servo that is fitted. However always test it before use.
