I want to make a better job of fitting a canopy to a glass fibre frame.
If the canopy is to conform to the fuselage, there will be quite a lot of gap to fill between canopy and frame.
I was thinking of using silicone as the glue joint under the canopy will be covered by a paint line.
Any thoughts?

Hi Phil,
I use Tesa 4965 double sided tape, when I'm fitting a virgin canopy and canopy frame, it's 0.3mm thick and may take up your gap, here's link to where I got some in the UK. - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264297998093
It is sold at Gromotec.de and some of the other large scale glider sellers in Germany, it is good and can recommend it.
