Cutting a greenley wing in half
Cutting a greenley wing in half
After buying a SD greenley airframe i have realized he wing is awkward to transport as one piece. My idea is to make a 600mm(this may well be overkill) long dihedral joiner box, drop it in the wing and then cut the wing in half. As it's foam there shouldn't be too much of a problem. Fingers crossed eh? Matt

Look on the downloads page of the Ghost Squadron website at
http://www.ghostsquadron.co.uk/greenley ... _page.html
and look at the 2 piece Greenley wing plan. I know the plan is for a built up wing but the length and diameter of the tube spar will help you to size your joiner correctly.
Happy sawing.
