Rudder control surface is made same way as ailerons.

Hinges are made same way as on wings except that bearings are also used here.
On front slats are glued.

Added carbon fibres at the rear, and covered rest of the rudder.

Holes are cut, where the hinges are. Expoxy+microballon is applied on the round part of the rudder and sanded.

With elevator, slightly different type of building is used.

On the ribs, 3x2mm balsa slats are glued together.

Lovely build

Some very different build methods there as well. I guess that I will have to wait for the next instalment to see how the underside of the elevator is built

On top of it, thinner mix of epoxy and microballons is applied and a 25g glass fiber.
