That's a good question..... DG tended to use quite large tyres, the single seaters my old 303 included used a 5.00x5 tyre as did our old 100, the DG drawings on their website state 350mm diameter, the DG 800 drawing - http://www.dg-flugzeugbau.de/Data/3s-dg-800a.pdf confirms the wheel spec. of 5.00x5 with a 350mm dia. As for the 500/505 it could be a 6.00x6 but I can't be accurate on that one.
