Re: Sustainer poll
Hi Cliff, Thank you. I do appreciate that. My question stemmed from the thoughts that :- if the sustainer ban on the Mynd was a democratic club decision as we are led to believe there would be many more 'no,s' then the poll is showing. As this is not the case it leads me to believe the ban is a committee decision.
Also bringing the poll back to the for front gives all who appose sustainers a reminded opportunity to have their say. Ter.

We just need smaller jets to be scale. And can be retrofitted to the ASW20, Discus and others.

Re: Sustainer poll
I can't imagine the NT would have any objections to electric sustainers on model gliders, they allow a pawnee to operate just down the road and almost entirely unregulated use of the mynd by land rovers and trail bikes.
The added safety margin afforded by a sustainer would surely outweigh any negligible risks...

Re: Sustainer poll
Don't think the NT have any say in the operation of the Midland tug as the MGC own the land.

Elliot , the MGC got rid of their Pawnee years ago. I voted in the POLE yes, and as an LMSA member have no objection to Sustainers being used on the hill if the rules allow it.
Regards John.
