Mick, as you will have seen from my previous post, the ribs and the slots as drawn are all identical, so that shouldn't be happening. The solution is simple: ease out the rear of the top spar slots on the ribs on which the TE is too high. This should allow them to rotate up slightly. Use the straight TE to line the ribs up. They should line up on the LE now as well

thanks chris
will try that , although have glued all ribs to spars , so will have to cut rib at top as you said and add strengthener in
i presume all ribs should be level across top and bottom ?
will get there ?
on sitting incedence , should i add a small piece of leading edge ?
thanks again for all your help , it’s a brilliant forum

Assuming the ribs are more or less identical, setting up the TE should be sufficient. When hand cutting, there are often variations at the LE: these are usually sanded out when trimming up the LE with a sanding block

Don't fuss packing out the ribs, Mick, it shouldn't be necessary

finally 😄
got it square , or as close to before sheeting , just sliced the top of rib and lined up with trailing edge - as you said chris - just have a gap from top section of ribs to top spar, easy fix

A quick note for when you get to the outer wing panel, Mick... I have noticed that ribs have been plotted in Compufoil in such a way that the the aileron spar is not, as you might think, a straight taper, but is parallel out to rib 13, and tapers from there.
Also, a typo...J5 fits rib 19, not rib 20

(I've only noticed these things because my current Minimoa wings are based on the MO2a's, with the necessary mods)

thanks Chris
will make a note of that
does the main spar still taper from the wing join (12mm-6mm) or does that start from 13 as well ?
thanks again
