bit more done today
starting on the canopy , but seem to have gone wrong again !!!
the formers don’t seem to fit at all , 20mm short in width , has anyone got any ideas or methods how to get an even curve
to match front former
have tried to copy front and cut down - didn’t work
any ideas greatly appreciated

Does anyone want a minimoa to finish off
have give up with it , just to difficult, seem to be having difficulty in every step
tailplane, rudder , inner wings and fuse all done
just canopy and outer wings to be finished

It has to be said Mick, the MO2a canopies are the most complicated canopies I've ever had to make (and then you have to paint them)...

hi Chris
i know what you mean, managed the front section and rear section - just a cannot get the middle to fit at all, either to small too big or wrong curve
it’s a lovely plane but just loosing the will to finish it ....
hopefully will get the enthusiasm back soon, as love to build but seem to be doing everything 3/4 times
OH the joys of modelling ..... lol

OK Mick...first of all, remember that there's a 3mm sq spruce rail that sits on top of the wing fairing, rebated 1mm to allow for the glazing.

Here's a screen shot with attached PDF of F7 & F7a, taken straight from the plan. Note the distance shown at the base of F7a: check to see if this matches up with your part? If it does, then for some reason the fuselage may be wider at that point that it should be?
