Servo cover / link fairing
Servo cover / link fairing
I need to make some servo covers with a fairing out to cover the aileron links for my swift. Has there been any coverage of this topic before? I was thinking of either making a fibreglass plug and moulding one (a lot of bother me thinks) or vac forming. Either way I have little to no experience and any one out there with a suggestion would be most welcome. I am covering 10mm thick wing servos which are in round holes cut into the veneered wings
Re: Servo cover / link fairing

Re: Servo cover / link fairing
Hi Trevor,I have two solutions that may help.
(1) Phoenix Mp online,(Stan Yeo) has a number of A.B.S. vac formed in stock. Go to his web site, (Phoenix MP uk) Then to servo by brand, Then servo covers. Lots to choose from there. Next day delivery possible.
(2) Good friend of mine Mr Paul Watkins makes them for small money from A.B.S. I am sure he would make them to your requirement. Either P.M. him on this forum or reach him through me.
Paul's covers are much more substantial, but you may have to wait a little longer for delivery. Hope that helps. Terry
