I concur with the others. I too have used double joiners when at that weight and above. However it has to be said that I tend to throw the model around a lot. For gentle flying a single should be adequate.
That leads me to think that if your wings are flapping around a lot then there is something else going on with your joiner system. Time for some investigative surgery perhaps?

Big thanks to everyone who took the time to reply, I took the top off the model tonight to get a look at the wing joiner setup and was shocked what I found
I'm going to have to revamp the whole wing joiner setup plus I'll put in the second steel rod
Only thing I need to know is what the proper dihedral is

Usually around 3 degrees per wing...
