Well sort of - to the right of the posting box, just above the "Smilies", we have some other function tabs....one of them is for the Greek letters as used in Maths, Physics etc and I wanted to use the lower case "Chi".
Well, upper case is just an ordinary "X" and, lower case is just an ordinary "x". Disappointing - oh well, I'll just have to use plain old English instead !

Re: Maths Question
The rest of the table looks ok, but not lower-case "Chi"...(the one I wanted to use).
If you Google the Greek letter "Chi" you'll see the correctly drawn character. What does it matter you may say ?
Well, in Maths /Physics 'our' letter "x" represents an unknown quantity. Chi, however, means something completely different. For example, as used in a "Chi-Squared" distribution.
Goodness knows what they do in Welsh schools - they don't even have an "x" in their alphabet !

Re: Maths Question
Dave,
I see what you mean.
The characters come up as ‘x’ as in the table rather than with squiggly tails.
Thus the table hasn’t been populated correctly.

Re: Maths Question
Barry - worrying isn't it ? They may even start tinkering with our own allffabbett next !! (oops, nearly slipped into a bit of Welsh there...)
Anyway, it's all Greek to me.
