Very nice, puts our 1/3rd scale one to shame. Can you give some details, i.e. Wing sections used, c of g position and decalage. Ours is very "squirrely" if towed too fast and while flying OK the elevator doesn't allow a really good flare out.

Loverly glider, nice to see working brakes too. However this might sound strange, can you give some details on the 'V tail" tug please?kaczka wrote: ↑25 Mar 2020, 11:58 Hello there is video of my new glider.

I am in the process of building a tug and I've always thought a "V tail" the most sensible way to go.
Thanks

Congratulations on a lovely model and video. Nice to hear the silence of glider flight after the tug lands. Are elevator movements very sensitive?
Re: is-5 Kaczka 1/2
Hello,
wing span: 6 m
weight: 20 kg
Wing airfoil: clark Y
cg position 75 mm befor leading edge
Flying habits are excelent. It is my second Kaczka. First is in 1/3 scale. It was dificult to learn it fly. But now is realy perfect.
Small Kaczka can fly acrobatic figures.

A solid looking model, though a bit bigger than I'm looking for. I might try the V-tail though on my model.
Thanks and well done on your IS-5.
