1/2 Scale PWS-101

Not long anymore and a 1/2 Scale PWS-101 kit will be available through Cliff Evans.
Attached a rendered picture of the computer model. Estimated availability of drawings and kit is end of March
Wings span 9.5 meter flying weight estimated at 28-30 kg.

I think one was built in New Zealand! May be wrong. I am sure Jilles will know. Have the plans etc if you want to have a go!

The Guy in New Zealand had two sets cut some time ago. since then silence. Will make some inquiries.

I would love to.......just a matter of time! I’m backed up quite a bit in the model building section of life.....the other “less important” things like work and sleep keep getting in the way! :)

Got hold of the names of the Guys in New Zealand that both had the parts cut locally.
the health of one guy turned bad and I under stand he is in and out of hospital.The other was busy building a new house and shed. That is now completed, The new shed is large enough to build the 1/2 scale PWS so there is hope one will finally be built

Sounds great! Have you all found a new laser cutter here in the USA yet??? Really want to take one of these on....

Hi Tom, No I have not found anyone yet, I am sending kits across at the moment but postage is horrendous! A 1/3 scale kit on average costs £70+ to post! some of that cost is insurance but still B****y expensive. I dread to think what the cost of the half-scale would be.
