Hi All

Just a quick reminder that Baldock Glider day is 7th August this year. There seems to be some confusion as to the dates but we can confirm that 7th is the correct date.

All

Not long now until the annual glider day at Baldock. There is the opportunity to fly on Sat with the club and camp over on the field Sat night. If you wish to camp please contact John Greenfield via PM.
Pilots briefing will be at 10.00am Sun morning and the club are putting on a BBQ sunday lunchtime
Tugs will be available to tow any size glider but self launch gliders are always welcome and we especially welcome new tug and glider pilots who may not have tried aerotowing before. Experience aerotow pilots will be available to help.
See you there.

Camping available on Sat night (by prior arrangement, contact John via email or PM) Flying with club members on sat is also possible and tugs will be available Sat afternoon as well as Sunday.

See you there ?

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Baldock Glider day the best one so far. We had great conditions and some epic flights. A huge thank you to Darren and Tony for towing duties and to the NLMFC team for a fantastic BBQ and drinks all day.
NLMFC club member Dave Fox has recorded the day in pictures and has shared them on http://plasmanetwork.co.uk/NLMFC/NLMFCGliderDay2022.zip
They are in a zip file so need to be unzipped – download, Right click on file, choose extract all.
Lots of average pics, but a couple of crackers.
The link will remain active for a couple of weeks if you want to have a look

Here's a video from the Insta 360 Camera mounted on my Baudis Antares.

I'm pretty sure that's AEB's Ash 31 at 40 seconds in.
