Hello from east-germany

Now I find the time to introduce my self as well: I'm living in Dresden and doing model-soaring since 20 years. I'm flying modells from 2.5m till 7m, mostly with FES, because our spot ist flat. We also doing quite a lot of towing. We have 4 tugs in our club (one is mine) and roundabout 14 models to tow.

How I came to SSU: I looked for a Ikarus Meteor and find the informations about the drawings from Jill Smith and the short kit from Cliff Evans. So I already orded a kit and use the threads to collect information how to build the model.

In total is this here a quite intresting forum, because herea are some other or diferent views to models like in other groups - refreshing to read!

Hi,

the kit arrived me well packed. I already started with building.

I post some progress in the german forum. It's easier for me when I need a littele help. Anyhow, picture don't need words:

Just had a look, looks like the build is going well Woody.
