Well as near as no difference? It's a Wilfried Klinger fuz and plan that I've had for several decades now and I have just got around to looking at it and trying to order the bits I need.
I am having all sorts of trouble tracking down the flat steel wing joiner and the brass box for it. It will need to be a max of 12mm od for the brass box and that would put the flat steel at about 10mm depending on the box wall thickness and the joiner will need to be 2 or 3mm thick by about 13", 330cm long
Has anyone any ideas on where it may be available please.

John, as Chris says Gliders Distribution do a range of flat spring steel joiner strip & matching brass box.
The 2 standard ones were both 2mm thick steel strip in a 0.5mm wall brass box, so 3mm wide & 1mm wider than the steel strip.
The 12mm blades were used on the smaller (up to 3m span) Pat Teakle range & the 15mm appropriate for the 4m 1/4 scale jobs.
Hopefully, you can get the 13mm wide brass box in place.

Re: 1/6th scale H101 Salto
I now have just the port wing and both ailerons to make and I can crack on and cover it. I've got plenty of ProFilm to do that, but I have a question.
I want to use something like Blenderm for the control hinging and as we have Amazon Prime it would save the postage. But on amazon all I can find is 2" or boxes of 12 1", both would be a little OTT me-thinks. But they do have a load of other 3M surgical tape such as Transpore or Micropore tape. Would this be OK to use?
The thought of the control surfaces floating gently down to Earth is something I don't even want to think about
Any ideas please folks?

Hi John,
Well done with your progress.
On the issue of tape I’m afraid I think Micropore would be a disaster. It is soft, only weakly adhesive, and is designed to tear easily. On the plus side it is good for dressing blisters on your hands or feet

4Max do rolls of 1” tape for £3.99, but you would need to add postage to that. Otherwise it looks like £8/roll or so from eBay dealers or paying a little more for a lifetime supply box of 12
