Gorgeous!
The Type 23 was an interesting refresh of the original Kite. I have a photo from Ted Hull of the prototype flying over the Yorkshire Gliding Club, before it was bought by a gliding club in Cambridge, and then headed to the US where it was fitted with an enclosed canopy. Nobody (even Martin Simons) seems to know its fate after that.
I think the original was painted all white/cream. Although I’m sure after it moved stateside somebody got out a pot of orange paint…
