- A lot of wood for only a wing.
- All the ribs etc. have been milled, but there is still enough to do to find detailed solutions, such as for the drive or the retractable skid.
- Ribs and jig for one half wing.
- Jig for the port wing.

1/6 scale Horten IIIe by nurfluegel-modelltechnik
Happy New Year! I have planned to build a Horten IIIe this year. The scale is 1:6, which results in a wingspan of approx. 3400 mm. This is a kit from Raimund Sonst (nurfluegel-modelltechnik). In the meantime, nurfluegel-modelltechnik has discontinued the production of kits.

After a few months building, the model takes shape. In contrast to the full size plane, the model will be completly sheeted with 2 mm balsa, so it is not scale regarding the construction. I will try ro simulate the different appearance of the wooden and the fabric covered parts of the full size plane with different stains for wood.
