Ashes Hollow, Long Mynd is very nice for SE winds.
Details are given at Long Mynd Soaring Association here:
https://www.lmsa.org.uk/drupal/section/ ... ites#ashes
NB closed season April - July when birds are nesting.
As with all hills at Long Mynd, membership of LMSA is encouraged and polite and only costs a few quid.
My geography isn't that great, but I seem to remember flying from about here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/52°32 ... 3?hl=en-GB
Park at the at the site at 11 o'clock from the dropped pin on the North side of Burr Way.
