That's a shame Brian.

If the maiden flight of my Sabre is successful there is a good chance the design will become the 2020 mass build for the PSSA.

Martin.

Quick question: Do you reinforce the trailing edge rib connection at all?
Does it twist when its covered?

Oops thats two questions.
Thanks

The rear of each rib is reinforced with an elongated triangle of 0.8mm ply. The 'D' section holds the wing rigid, so there is usually not distortion of the TE. (Also, I strap a ruddy great Ali straight edge to the TE when adding the top sheeting)

Thanks for the info, great tip with the ALI straight edge.

Also worthy of note: I've used 1.5mm ply for the TE this time, as I had run out of spruce. It will be OK, but spruce has a noticeably greater lateral strength than ply...
