South Wales Aerotow(s) 2019

Post by Elliot Howells »

Hey Fellas and ladies!

just gauging interest in a two day event in the heart of south west wales, with overnight camping available.

A superb strip and location, details to follow, just want to see what support we can drum up.

As many of you will know, I have been organising aerotow events for something like 10 years now, so have a pretty good handle on how to make it a success with the emphasis on relaxed, safe, friendly fun.

Be really pleased to hear from glider guiders and tuggers (especially) we have tugs in the club but the more, the merrier.

Cheers chaps, Ell.

Elliot, I think this could be a great idea as the chance of anything happening at our club with the farmer's building plans looming are slim. Count me in plus the ASH. Regards John.

Guys, sorry, didn't mean to be cryptic!

not sure where our website is living at the moment as we recently changed name to Carmarthen MFC, google Meidrim.

Also have a facebook page, please feel free to join, it's no obligation and you can keep track of the site/ club there :)

I can't make google maps issue forth a pin, but will try after tea.

Cheers all, Ell.

Hi Ell, I'd enjoy a trip to Wales in the campervan for a bit of aerotowing. When were you thinking of holding it?l

27-28th of April is my best guess at the moment, I will confirm or deny in the next couple of days.

I need to round up as many tuggers as possible - we've just had an influx of big petrol chaps at the club, so hopefully I can strong-arm them!

If anyone can both come and bring a tug- please let me know your availability so I can get those planets in alignment...

Cheers, Ell.
