Mylar sheet thickness

Post by MDev » 17 Mar 2019, 10:08

What thickness is best for use in sealing control surface gaps on 1/3 scale?

Any favoured suppliers?

Plenty of lightweight Mylar around and places to buy but no 800-1000 micron Mylar, where do you purchase yours?

I've tried the model shops here and europe, ebay sells up to 350 micron but nowhere sells .8 to 1mm thick (800 to 1000 micron) that I can find.

Any other suggestions?

RH Nuttall in birmingham are going to give me a price, the more I buy the better price I can get! The do .8 up to whatever! You can approach them directly with your enquiry or wait to see what I can do!
