Hate to say this, Scale Police, but you're out of your jurisdiction here

I take it that you are not selling this as a scale plan then Chris

Well it must be scale then, would be nice to see one in the Turkish livery.

I have just completed a series of drawings of the Weltensegler (World Gliders) early gliders from 1919 - 1925 for a 'Customer', free as usual, but I don't think you will be creating models of these.

Hi Vince,

Interesting looking biplane glider! Did the full size actually fly?

Martin.

There are no reports of it flying, but it was well built

Hi Vince,

I am tempted to ask for a copy of the drawings, just to have a go at building it. I reckon it would need a number of build iterations to get it to fly at all. 2.5m to 3m span might work.

Finally, a chance to maiden the Habicht. A weighty bird with 3.5lbs of lead up front (AUW15lbs) nevertheless a couple of short test flights showed a decent roll & loop capability and a very safe stall with the HQ35 sections...

C'mon Chris. All that work to make a scale model and then you just invent a new colour scheme. will have to report you to the Scale Police :o

Nice mode; though

However, we are a Scale group, not a Scale look alike group.

I've finally got some decent airtime with the Habicht this last couple of weeks. Initially, I thought that the choice of the HQ section might have been a mistake, but I now realise that I have a glider able to do all the aerobatics in my limited repertoire (including sustained inverted flight) and which still has perfect low speed characteristics. I like it!
