Ball joint quick release

Has anyone had any experiences with a quick-release connector for ball joints on Bowden cables?

Something like these:

I have a 4m PT glider with Bowden's for the ailerons and brakes. The ball joints are nice and slop free, they're just a pain to rig and over time, I expect they will wear somewhat...
