Hello from the Isle of Wight

Post by TimSD »

Hello everyone
Just joining in as I restart balsa bashing after a very long layoff of foot launched flying, Motorcycles and working life.
It's going to be fun? figuring out what's new and indeed whether I want to do new...
First job is a small glider from a plan I've fancied for close to 50 years (never got around to it before) just to get the thumbs working again.
Really enjoying the process, along with the mental build list which is growing already.

I taught myself to fly rud/ele on Culver down 30 years ago!

Not flown on the Island since getting back into the hobby though. Plenty of sites to pick from; you'll need a large hanger to ensure the correct weapon of choice is readily at hand ;-)
