Hi from Colombia

Hi all, I´m a Belgian living in Colombia, rich of beautiful mountains and also low thermal plain. We fly normally around 2000 meters above sea level for slope, and around 50 to 500 m. for thermal.
I used to fly engine powered planes(+40 years), but I want to go back to my early age with gliders.

Welcome to the group. We've always hear to help if you need it.

You could do all of us a favour by going and find the Balsa man in your country and asking him to supply the UK model trade rather than selling it all to the Chinese. We're fast running out of material.

Welcome to our community Patrick, I will second Ian's sentiments and also ask that you find the balsa producer and politely ask him to get in touch with SlecUK who are indeed having problems getting balsa because the Chinese are buying it all up for wind turbine blades.
