WHO'S BUILDING WHAT FOR 2021

Post by chris williams »

The Topaze is now being re-sized to similar dimensions to that of the last version of the Zugvogel i.e. 1:4.2. Hopefully, this will then be of a suitable size for towing up with our small electric tug...

As I have Carpal Tunnel surgery on Monday, things in the workshop will come to a shuddering halt until Xmas. Good progress on the mini-Topaze so far, though: here it is with the Zugvogel for comparison...

You lucky boy - had mine cancelled three days before way back in February; been driving me scatty.

You'll get it over it very quickly Chris - had my right wrist done a couple of years ago.

As a small in between project I got myself a SZD-25 Lis from Old Gliders.
It is the 3 meter laminated version, so most energy will go into the wings. The whole set was received in good order within couple of days :!:

I hope this will be a relatively fast and easy build, so I have something easy and small to take to the slopes whenever it suits.

I understand everyone wants to leave 2020 behind as soon as possible........but isn’t this thread 1.5 months premature? :D :D
