Hi Everyone
My name is Steve Walton. I live in Perth, Western Australia.
I have been perusing the forums for the best part of a year or so and have found it very interesting with very knowledgeable and encouraging members involved.
My involvement with aeromodelling began in the early 70's with Control Line and Free Flight. This passion has continued for fifty years give or take short breaks building a home and having children. Over this time I have competed at 5 Control Line World Championships in the F2C Team Race category with the Australian Team and was also the Contest Director for this class at the 2016 World Championships held in Perth.
My current interest has moved towards Scale Gliding, Vintage Free Flight and Old Timer R/C Assist. For my first foray into Scale Gliding an A.S.W.15 is sitting on my workbench in production. Hopefully to be followed by an AVIA 152, all in 1/5 scale. To accompany these projects I am currently building a winch for launching.
