Can you explain what 30/10 balsa is please?

AEB
John,
I cut strips of 10 mm width from balsa sheet of 3mm thick for planking the fuse. Same method for making a hull of boat.
( sorry my english is little poor )
Thank you Patte. 3mm x 10mm makes much more sense. I have seen this annotation on several European plans but never really understood what it meant.

John,
Just for clarification.
The x/10 annotation on french drawing or Europeen means the thickness of the wood:
- 30/10 = sheet of wood of 3 mm of thickness and is not depending of the type of wood.
Sometimes it's seems " bizare " to 100/10 , which means 10 mm of thickness !

Nose was added and fuselage back was shape .
Complete sanding of fuse was also done for having smooth surface before recovering it with fiber glass in 2 layers (160g/m² & 80g/m²)

Next hard work comes, apply filler and sand several time for reaching a glossy surfage of the fuselage which will be a master.
A new step is coming, build the mold of the fuselage... a new challenge
