About 25 years ago a good freind of mine designed and built a 30,% Grob 109 motor glider, he flew it successfully back then but his health has been not do great and he's not flying or building models anymore so I have purchased the model and over the last few months I've been cleaning it up and adding my own details to it, it's power comes from a zenoah g45 that I've now cleaned up and is now running nicely my additional bits are all the detail things, all being well I'll have a test flight video tomorrow night, here's some pictures how she looks fully assembled for the first time in many years

She flies again; very happy with how it flies, the engine needs a tiny tweak of its tune as the initial ground roll was a little lackluster but it's a very well mannered machine in the air, I've now fitted the fema onboard starter just waiting on my new radio to arrive then I'll program that up and hoping to have a true inflight restartable motorglider
