Scale Soaring UK

Hello all, Whilst I normally fly RC power scale I occasionally visit the Great Orme to fly slope models. I would very much like to start thermal soaring but need to find a club in or near North Wales. My own club is the Deeside Model Aircraft Club but little gliding takes place there. I have just been given a mostly completed Krick Reiher which has been constructed very nicely indeed and it has fired my enthusiasm for large (to me!) scale gliders.

There is the CSA (Clwyd Soaring Association) boys and girls that fly in North Wales also with a flat field site. You can find their website here:

There are a number of other non CSA members (including myself) who share sites with the CSA boys.
