Installation of rudder post
Evening all just joined and wondered if anyone could shed some light on how to install a rudder post and pln hinges to achieve a nice tight hinge line on my Kobuz 3, thanks in advance

Hi Cliff, sorry it's taken a while to reply I am currently nursing a mangled middle finger having a 8x6 prop chopped its way through, I didn't explain very well but I am trying to refurbish the Kobuz 3 as the rudder was never hinged properly and as I have tried hinging this way before I am uncertain how the geometry works, I have attached a photo of the fin showing where I think the post should be. I have measured the width of the opening top and bottom and tried to work out how deep inside the fin the post needs to be fixed, how this makes sense.
