Hello everyone. I'm Ross from sunny Essex. Long time aviation enthusiast and ex RC glider pilot taking steps to get back into the hobby after a long layoff. My first glider was a Precedent Hi-fly followed by an Elmira and a couple of Chris Foss designs. I dropped out due to taking my aircraft photography world wide and all my money was going on spotting trips! I've come back into it as I had a day out to the Vintage Glider Club rally at Tibenham the other year and it reminded me how much I love old school gliders hence why I'm here. I'd love to be able to put together something of that ilk but am a complete novice to scratchbuilding (wing ribs are my living nightmare!) so hopefully I'll be able to leech off of some of you for advice etc 
. I'm getting back into it with a kit of a Cambrian models Elan 100 and once thats up in the air I'll look towards getting some plans. Thanks for having me here! Ross
