The site is looking amazing and as if to be working on a just in time basis, the NOTAM was posted late this afternoon, so all set to go from Friday.

Cracking day at Milson yesterday (Saturday), sorry no photos too busy flying.

Thanks to Ray and the tuggies, plus Chris for allowing us use of the airstrip.

Hope the rain held off on Sunday.

Had a great day at Milson yesterday, well worth the 6hr round trip. Even the weather played ball.
We will definitely go back in Sept for the whole weekend

Just a heads up that it's only 10 days now to the next Milson aerotow from Friday 15th through to Sunday 17th of September. The NOTAM application has been submitted for all 3 days. I hope to be there by late afternoon on the Thursday and plan to stay until the Monday lunchtime. Campers are invited to do the same or stay any time within that period. Please remember that there is NO elsan disposal available, but there are a couple of toilets on site for you to use. There is water available.

This is a charity event collecting by a donation on the day basis at your discretion for the local air ambulance trust. Please, if you are not planning on donating, don't come.

You need to be a BMFA member to attend as this is covered by a BMFA event permit. Also this is only for under 25kg models, so definitely no over 25kg models.

Anyone who has not been before, please see previous info re directions, but basically do not set satnav to Milson, but set to Cleobury Mortimer first then when you get there program for Milson. You will regret a direct route for the last 5 miles or so.

Hoping the current good weather lasts long enough to cover this event, and looking forward to seeing you all there again.

Cheers

Heads up to anyone coming Friday. The road from Cleobury Mortimer to Milson is closed at the moment due to road works. This is supposed to be finished tomorrow some time. The suggested route by Chris which we took tonight is to head to Tenbury Wells and come in from the opposite direction on the same road. This way also says road closed, but the closure is between Cleobury and Milson. It's a similar road with one fairly narrow and steep bit, but it shouldn't be busy as the through route is closed.

So head for Tenbury Wells, from Worcester or Kidderminster. At the start of Tenbury there is a newish housing estate. Turn right there as if to go In to the estate. Then follow the road through the houses turning right and not up the no through road and you will then be on the road for Cleobury and Milson. Follow this to Milson and turn left into the lane to the airstrip where you would have as before.
