Re: White Sheet Scale Days 2023
The White Sheet Scale Day is ON this Sunday. Forecast is for a good blow from the SW. This means that the reserve days for March are cancelled.

Re: White Sheet Scale Days 2023
Thanks to all the visitors to White Sheet today who helped to make a great turnout for the Scale Day. Everyone seemed to have a good day despite the weather curtailing operations a little earlier than forecast.

Re: White Sheet Scale Days 2023
It was a good day - thanks !
Good to see the built-up planes braving the blustery conditions - my windmeter was reading 30-35mph in the morning, rising to 45+mph when the rain came in at 13:30. Great fun with the all-moulded Valenta ASW17 in that blow - shame about the concrete landing - bit of tape & flying again.

Well, it was indeed a day out, but way too windy for all but the stout hearted.
I had a few good flights, and then R.I.P. Wolf. No elevator control straight after launch. Radio all seems good, so some sort of structural failure is suspected. I will have a good look this morning.

Re: White Sheet Scale Days 2023
Hello to all. Unfortunately the winds for this weekend are determined to remain on the wrong side of South so the Scale Day is cancelled. We will try again on the reserve days of 22/23 Apr. Fingers crossed.
