Just finishing profiling the outer wing sections ready to install the wingtips, covering, ailerons and paint, then we should be ready for test flight prior to maiden.

Test flight, maiden??????

The test flight, is the maiden!!!

It has either flown or it has not flown, you only get one chance at a maiden.

I see what your saying, my "test flight is approximately 40 meters in long grass abiet a short flight, never the less a maiden with less chance of damage.

And you were spot on about the ammount of nose weight (church roof) required to achieve the correct CG, I held it above my head to get a feel of the launching hand positions and it feels like it looks "a good lump for a Barge", I'll need a good stiff breaze and and someone with experience of launching unlike my SG38 which is quite floaty.

I also agree with Jilles about the pilot size being a little small so.ill source a 1/16 figure to Suite

Overall I've enjoyed the build which was ioriginally nspired by the RC magazine and recently rekindled by Jim & Barry's1/13 scale build that I apt across a few years ago on YouTube

Now sourced the correct scale pilot, he's actually a German Stuka pilot reperposed, not the most happy of chaps however once he has a set of goggles, he'll be ready for the maiden.
