A speculative visit to White Sheet this afternoon paid dividends with a maiden for the Skylark. Seems to fly pretty well, not dissimilar in fact to the the previous 6th scale gliders... (First slope session for the Skylark 4, too)
As I was on my own, I had to rely on Helmut Camm for the action pics!

The WS scale day provided an ideal opportunity to put the little Skylark through her paces... In conclusion: no vices, and a semi-aerobatic performance including loops, spins, chandelles etc, including quite a decent roll. The up-going ailerons provide plenty of braking power rendering the complication of brakes or spoilers entirely unnecessary...

Thanks, Roger...may have to build something non-Slingsby-related now before I become obsessed!

Perhaps the more pertinent question would be: is there any interest?
