No glass has been used. The center section will be covered in DIACOV 1000 from Nexus.

I ve decided to glass the center sectrion with 24g / 24gsm / 0.6oz glass cloth and epoxy laminating resin.
Now starts the propcess of rubbing down ready for paint.

I was supprised to find the Horton was nose heavey when trying to balance it without the motor bateries installed.
It is at a stage that it is flyable as a glider and this is how I will maiden it over the next three weeks while visiting North Wales.
The powered version will need the motor batteries to be placed on the CG. So this will need a modification and surgery to achieve.
