73 year old T21 Restoration Down in South Africa

Post by Cliff Evans »

I must thank Pat Marsden for sharing this great video of a 73-year-old T21 down in South Africa.
Not this particular one but I had my first ever flight in a glider in the Air Cadets at RAF Locking Weston-super-Mare when I was 16. A year later at 17 I did my first solo flight in that glider. The T21 will always be dear to me and will with people like these in the video live on so future generations can have the same experience, an experience that I would recommend to anyone. Any parents out there that want to get their kids off of the play station or similar, gett them a flight in one of these. It will change their lives forever.

WSM Museum = Weston-Super-Mare Helicopter Museum
And before you say it a T21 is not a helicopter......<sigh> :D
