After seeing a couple of DG 808s fly at the long myid scale day I was inspired 2 scratch build one . so a week later I started the plans and over the last month inbetween gaps building my ash31 I purchased a block of foam a started carving and laminating with carbon , glass and epoxy it is now at the filler stage. It will be lost foam and is the biggest build I have started so far. Cost so far appox £60. I think it will be a slow build as I must finish my other builds first. It is made up of 1layer of 290 2 layers of 200gm and 1 layer of 130 gm glass with 200gm of carbon ud tape in the tail. More carbon and kelver reinforcement well be added later when the foam is removed.
