Hi Chris

If it is like the JR and Spektrum sets and many others I have no doubt, when you slacken the allen grub screws, that allows you to adjust the length of the stick and then re-tighten the grub screw to lock it into place

I have changed a couple of these, and in both cases the stick tops were in two pieces, the same as the Futaba ones that I replaced them with, the bottom section acting as a locknut. No grub screws in sight.

I will post a photo later today.
